The Value of a "Resale Rights" Product.

The Value of a "Resale Rights" Product.
by Zamri Nanyan

If you've been on the internet for quite some time, you'll
find a shocking revelation on how much a product is valued
by the sellers and the potential buyers.

It becomes more obvious if the product that is being sold
is a "resale rights" product.

For those who are not aware, a product with resale rights
is a product that you can buy and sell back to others based
on the terms and conditions set by the creator of the
product. Sometimes, you can resell the product with the
same price that you bought earlier.

It sounds great as you can cover back your investement with
only one sale. But, the ugly truth is about to be told.

If the "resale rights" product is being sold to a lot of
people and regardless if the product is good or not, you
as a reseller certainly face competition. It gets even
more competitive when the product becomes more popular or
widely spread in the market.

Here are two outcomes from this stiff competition:

1. There'll be resellers selling the product for a low
price that sometimes they violate the terms and
conditions set by the creator earlier.

2. Even worse, the product is given away for free, whether
it's done secretly or openly.

Now, directly or indirectly, that's how the resellers are
putting value on the product. The resellers might have their
own motives of doing so, like getting quick cash from the
product, building their mailing list more easily or just
because they don't value the product so high.

On the other hand, let's see what the potential buyers will
look at this product.

Some potential buyers see the product as the answer to
their problems. Once they knew that this product is a
"resale rights" product, a few "smart" ones will do a
search on Google or Yahoo to find a better deal for a
cheaper price or even for free.

That's fair enough as it is their rights to get the best
deal for their money.

But, the problem appears when the product which is supposed
to be sold is given away for free. This confuses the
potential buyers and it triggers a question in their mind
about the quality of the product and whether this product
will really solve their problems.

When there is an almost similar new product in the market,
it gets even worse. The next question will be, "why should
I get this new product when there's an old one like it?"
or "gosh, it's just another me-too product and they are
only after my money".

The truth can be the opposite. The new product could have
a premium quality and could really be an answer to their
problems, but because of the confusion, these potential
buyers become more and more skeptical.

It's no surprise when you hear that "nah, I don't want
to buy another AdSense ebook anymore. They are all the
same", when it is not the case.

In short, Internet is full of information and most of the
time, it's free for everybody. You can spend hours in the
online forums or asking questions to the right people and
you'll figure out the answers to some of your questions.

However, do you have the time to do that? Or, are you
willing to spend some money to cut short your research
on the topics you're looking for?

Be it "resale rights" or "non-resale rights" product, the
value of the product is there, regardless if the product
is sold at $997 or given away for free.

You should understand that the time, money and effort that
was put to create a product is something you don't always
see but taken for granted.

Create your own product and you'll know.

Internet Marketing Anyone?

Internet Marketing Anyone?
by Zamri Nanyan

What you'll be reading is not theory. Instead, it is an actual practice that I implement on my business on a day to day basis.

I'll show you how I do internet marketing on one of my business websites even when I don't have my own products to sell. This is more like a step-by-step approach that you can copy immediately.

So, let's see if you can model what I'll do if I were to start over on a niche market again.

1. I'll create a website where I put a subscription box. Then, using autoresponder, I'll send out an e-course on the subject that I choose to my subscribers. Since I'm using autoresponder to deliver my e-course, it works on autopilot once the e-course is programmed into the autoresponder system. The people who opt in to my e-course will get info and promotions from me repeatedly. That solves the problem of finding new web visitors every time I do marketing for my website.

2. In the e-course, I'll recommend products that I'm affiliated with. I'll pick up the comissions when there are sales of these products. To find affiliate products is not difficult. You can pick a few products from Clickbank.com or CJ.com, but make sure you choose products related to the theme of the website you're promoting.

3. I also use articles in the e-course and allow people to reprint the articles. If my subscribers reprint and distribute the articles with my link in them, I get free traffic to my website. It can also result in sales if I'm promoting any products in the articles.

4. The same articles and new articles will also be posted on my website. It's the same idea where I get sales if anyone orders a product from the link in the articles. To increase my income, I put a Google Adsense code on my website. Anyone who clicks on any of the Google Adsense links will generate an extra income for me. This is, again, a passive income.

5. The articles that I post on my website are targeted content to my niche. Search engines love websites with targeted and relevant contents. Therefore, my website will be indexed on major search engines higher. It will add another method of promoting my website, which is search engine marketing.

6. I'll add article marketing to my marketing list, where my articles are sent out to hundreds of article directories. I do it using free and paid services. With every article that I distribute, I'll include a link back to my website in the resource box. That will bring anyone who clicks on the link to my main website where they will go through the process of subscribing to my e-course and getting articles and promotions through email. The whole marketing process will then repeat again and again.

7. Not only that I do all the above, but I also keep on learning and applying some other methods as well. For example, I do forum participation and pay-per-click advertising. I learn how to advertise in targeted ezines. I learn writing good testimonials. I learn how to network.

As you can see, most of these marketing methods are like a web. They can be applied to co-relate with each other.

The good thing is that these marketing strategies work for promoting any products on the internet. It doesn't matter if you are promoting affiliate products, your own products or even an MLM opportunity. Apply these strategies, bring tons of traffic to your website, and you'll be able to see an increase in sales, signups, or subscribers to your website.

How To Use Autoresponder As A List-Building And Prospecting Tool

How To Use Autoresponder As A List-Building And Prospecting Tool
by: Zamri Nanyan

One of the great features that you can have from an autoresponder is automatic response to anyone who requests more information about your business.

You'll, then, take advantage of this feature to help automate your list-building and prospecting process (sometimes up to the sign up process), if you do it correctly.

What you need to do is prepare 5 to 7 messages about your business and upload them into your autoresponder system. Set these messages to be delivered 2 to 3 days apart so that anyone requesting information from you will get all your messages in a sequence over a period of about 3 weeks.

Then, give a reason why anyone should be on your mailing list.

Here is a brief example of how you can customize your autoresponder with 7 messages.

Message #1: Sent Immediately
In this message, you can thank the persons who requested the business information from you. Tell a little background about you and encourage these persons to contact you and ask any question about your business. Then, leave a link to your MLM website so that they can explore the opportunity themselves.

Message #2: Sent 2 days apart
In this message, let them know the benefits of your own products and how these products are unique from others. Leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

Message #3: Sent 3 days apart
In this message, brief them about the Internet MLM in general and how people make money from the Internet and MLM. Then, leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

Message #4: Sent 2 days apart
In this message, explain to them the opportunity to make an extra recurring and growing income from your business. Remind them about the concept of MLM that you mentioned in your previous email. At the end of your message, leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

Message #5: Sent 4 days apart
In this message, let them know how you can help them achieve success in your Internet MLM business. Tell them the system you are using and the support group that you have. Let them evaluate if your business is the right one for them. Then, leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

Message #6: Sent 2 days apart
In this message, put a few testimonials from happy customers or members that have been working the business with you. Make it a point that they can do the same part time. Again, leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

Message #7: Sent 3 days apart
In this message, ask their feedback about your Internet MLM program. Mention that you're doing a survey of why some people are not open to this type of business or why they are hesitant to join. You'll get some good feedback of the concerns that other people have about your program and if these concerns arise again, you can expect some answers that you can give to your prospects. Lastly, leave a link to your MLM website and encourage them to contact you.

These are just sample email templates that you can write and upload them into your autoresponder system. They don't have to be in an order like above and they don't have to be only 7 of them. You can write as many as you want about any subjects that you like. However, observe that in every email message that you write, you want to end with a call of action for your prospects to visit your MLM website or contact you for more information. A good MLM website, with direct-marketing sales copy, can do business presentation for you and potentially sign up these prospects without having you to tell them how they can join your business.

Don't be surprised to have people sign up in your team even before they contact you in person. On the Internet, it's possible.

Now that you have your messages uploaded into your autoresponder system, you want to let a lot of people know about your opportunity. But, before that, you need to give a reason why these people should request more information from you and be in your mailing list.

Selling on eBay: Customer Service Strategies

Selling on eBay: Customer Service Strategies
by Zamri Nanyan

Let’s see how customer service is important on eBay.

Buyers rate their satisfaction with sellers, and your rating can make a difference on whether potential customers are willing to buy from you. The rating is like a business building tool on eBay.

However, to get good rating, you might want to consider a few strategies to service your customers beyond their expectations. That will guarantee satisfied customers whether they buy and keep your products or they buy and return the products back to you because of any particular reasons.

Here are a few strategies you can adopt.

Strategy #1:

Start by providing an accurate product description. Displaying clear pictures and describing any imperfection shows the buyer what to expect. It’s much better for customer satisfaction if the buyer receives a product in better shape than he expected than if you oversell and disappoint your customer.

Strategy #2:

Include acknowledgement of the winning bid and prompt shipping information. Use an automated response to let the buyer know you have received his bid. Acknowledge payment quickly. Ship immediately, and inform the customer when the product is shipped. Customer service strategies include providing a tracking link to the product whenever possible.

Strategy #3:

Offer free shipping. If you charge for shipping, don’t charge much above shipping costs. Customers notice the postage cost and will likely complain if the shipping and handling is several dollars over. They understand the cost of materials, but they don’t want to pay for your time to package the product.

Strategy #4:

Include a return policy. It is worth it to accept returns any time a customer asks. You can probably resell the item, and receiving a good rating is worth the cost and hassle.

Customer service strategies on eBay are not any different than traditional online stores. Make sure the product is as good as you say it is, don’t inflate shipping and handling, ship quickly, and have a liberal return policy. This is the way to achieve high customer service ratings.

It is also a path for you to sell more on eBay. Try some of these strategies yourself.

How To Not Spend a Fortune to Drive Traffic to Your Website

How To Not Spend a Fortune to Drive Traffic to Your Website
by Zamri Nanyan

There is one hard and fast rule in generating income for your website: A steady flow of website traffic. If no one goes to your site, it hardly bares a chance of generating an income. Many sites have tried and failed in doing so, and these results to the sites demise. It takes money to maintain an income generating site; it also takes money to make money.

BUT, it doesn’t take a whole caboodle of cash to generate website traffic for your site.

Ever wonder how does big hit sites drive traffic top their site? Most of them are spending tons of money to drive the traffic to their sites, investing in many advertising campaigns and different forms of marketing schemes and gimmickries. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to do this if you don’t really have their resources. There are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Many people have banked on high cost methods and have ended up losing their shirt over it.

Here I present to you the Top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that could help your site a whole lot. Even if you only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to client ratio it still works especially if you get a high number of website traffic.

1) Exchange Links

This is a sure and proven method. Rarely would you see a site where there is no link to another site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common subject so that there is continuity in the providing of service and information to what interests your target traffic.

Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. It is common knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inbound and outbound theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic in your website without the high costs.

2) Traffic Exchange

This is like exchanging links but on a different higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits. You can use those credits when viewing others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours.

Traffic exchange services are the viewing of another’s site or page. This is done vice versa where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

3) Write and Submit Articles

There are many e-zines and online encyclopedias in the internet which provides free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.

Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.

Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more.

4) Publish a Newsletter.

This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter but on the contrary, this is not so. There are many writers and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name in on your newsletter. This will also provide free advertising for them as well.

As your newsletter gets pass around, you can widen your public awareness and build an opt-in list that can regularly visit your site.

5) Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche with your site.

Share your two cents and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site, making it a reputable and honest business that could be frequented and trusted by many people.

What's making a 5-figure income got to do with you?

What's making a 5-figure income got to do with you?
by Zamri Nanyan

It's not the first time and it's not the tenth time that people send me email asking how much money I make from the internet.

As much as you hate when people ask how much you make for a living, I hate this question too and seldom entertain this type of emails.

Let me ask you...

Would you believe me if I told you that I make 30 thousand dollars per month or would you settle with me making 10 thousand dollars?

I know the struggles many netpreneurs are having because I was one of them too and I know that they mean to ask a different question.

My guess is that these people want to know how I make it and if they can follow my footsteps, but the problem is much bigger than that. I made my first 9.80 sale after 3 months on the Internet and no one knew about it. Of course I make more now but that is not the whole point here.

If you are starting out, know that you have to make that first $10 before you get to $100 and eventually $1000 or more.

That is the missing point that most of these newbies don't get.

And here is one more...

"Internet business seems a viable solution to my financial problems, but I'm only a housewife and I don't have much money to spend. Can you show me how to start?"

It was one of those emails again.

Guess what?

I thought I could help and this person could beat the odds.

Well, it turned out that after a nice reply and a small suggestion to start a simple internet business, she did not get back to me already.

Maybe it was my mistake by not lying that I make $150K+ per month and she could get that amount of money by next week. Or, maybe my answer to her email was so simple and basic that it sounded impractical to reach even the first three-figure additional income per month. Maybe I did not give her a magic seed to grow her money tree.

It was sad but I can only help so much.

It's like the old words of wisdom that says...

"When the student is ready, the Master will appear."

Maybe she is not ready yet although she knew that she had to do something to get out of her financial problems.

It's the best conclusion that I can make for her.

Now, I hope these lessons will help you or anyone who're just starting out to stop for a while and evaluate yourself.

1. Are you willing to invest your time, your money or your 'self' in order to achieve your goals?

I did my homework and learned how to sell online before I built my first website, but I still attended my first Internet Marketing boot-camp to find a good mentor to guide me. Look back at what books, seminars or courses you have invested to reach your goals.

Keep on investing 'wisely' to get a bigger return.

2. Are you easily discouraged when you don't reach your goals?

It's easier to give up than to stay on course. If you quit because you did not make any red cent in your first two months, it doesn't mean you failed. Look at when I got my first online sale.

Assess your strategies and the actions you take. Probably you need adjustments.

3. Are you prepared to reach the goals you've set?

If your target is a 10 thousand dollar income per month, be prepared to get it. I don't mean being prepared is by sitting down still. Get the work that's necessary to produce a 10 thousand dollar worth of results done. Write a best-selling ebook, produce a tip-top weekly or monthly newsletter or heavily promote the affiliate programs you joined.

Until you are prepared to do all the right things to achieve success, you will never be ready to get it, and eventually you will never get it.

With all that being said, let's see if you get this right.

A. Believe me that you can make $10K+ per month because I make more than 10 thousand dollars per month!

B. Believe me that you can make $10K+ per month because you are willing to put a concerted effort to reach your 10 thousand dollars per month income!

Which one do you choose now?

I truly hope you'd answer 'B'.

Your words Are Your Own Product?

Your words Are Your Own Product?
by Zamri Nanyan

If you've never come up with any ebooks or digital products on your own but you've been writing articles and posting in forums, then you're in for a big surprise.

You won't believe that you already have your own digital product in hand.

You'd probably think that your own product has to be an ebook, a piece of software or some sort.

That is normal.

Though you can't actually hold a digital product, the image of a book that appears on a website seems appealing and real enough to imagine that it's a tangible, physical product - when an ebook is really a simple PDF or executable file.

That's why creating an ebook can sometimes be a logical way to own a digital product.

But, you've been missing the point.

Like I said in the opening paragraph, if you have been writing articles and posting in forums, you definitely already have your own product in hand.

Take writing articles for example.

You can write a 500 to 600-word article about a topic and then leave an affiliate link to the website you're promoting in the author byline.

Since there's no article can be written exactly the same by two different authors, unless you plagiarize word for word, your article is your own unique product - in this case, a marketing product on its own.

What you need to do next is market your article as if you're marketing an ebook or other digital product and make sure that there are as many people as possible read your article.

How do you market your own articles?

One way to do it is by submitting your articles to hundreds of article directories and thousands of ezine publishers.

If you want a quick result, and get your article listed in major search engines in as little as one day, pay for the article submission service or use article submitter software. You'll get a wider distribution in a short period of time this way.

What if you don't write an article, but have been actively posting in forums?

Well, use bits and pieces of the postings and turn them into articles.

For example, post a question like "how do you get top ranking in search engine?"

Then, when you get enough responses, compile the answers and write an article based on the information you have. Next, give a catchy headline for the article such as "Top 7 Sure-fire Ways to Achieve Top Search Engine Ranking in Less Than a Week."

Include a short promotion about you in the author byline and Presto! You've got an article. You've got your own product.

Of course, you don't normally create an image of article cover (like ebook normally has ebook cover), and lose the feeling of a 'real' product, but you can always turn a few of your articles into a short report. And guess what? Lots of people create images for their reports. You can do the same too.

Now, can you easily create a 500-word article?

How fast can you write a 500-word article?

Can you write more than one 500-word article?

Think about it. I've just created a product of my own and you're done reading it in less then 3 minutes.

Is this article a great product? You’ll be the judge, but what's more important is that I've already successfully marketed "my own product" to you.

Haven't I?
